The main thing colleges are supposed to do is allow for the free flow of ideas. There's a college in Connecticut that disagrees with this(actually most colleges are like this). A student wrote an essay on the benefits of allowing concealed weapons on college campuses. The professor after hearing this, called the cops on the student!
